Birmingham Children’s Hospital is a specialist acute hospital based in Central Birmingham which provides a comprehensive service to children, young people and their families. Every year, the hospital treats over 140,000 patients from across Birmingham, the West Midlands and beyond.
Facilities include over 250 inpatient and day care beds, paediatric outpatients and emergency departments, a paediatric intensive care unit, a centre of excellence for children with cancer, cardiac, liver & renal diseases and a national transplant centre.
In addition, the hospital is one of the leading paediatric teaching centres in the country, with international research and development in many areas.
