General Information

Bideford Community Hospital was built in 1924 and extended several times, with the latest extension opened in 1994. We have two inpatient wards, Willow Community Unit and Elizabeth Ward.

Many different consultant out-patient clinics are held here, including general surgery, urology, orthopaedics, ear, nose & throat, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, cardiology, respiratory medicine, neurology, rheumatology, paediatrics, geriatric medicine and gynaecology. Many nurse-led specialist clinics are also held here.
