Chepstow Community Hospital is a new hospital which opened in 2000 having been developed under the Government's Private Finance Initiative.

Services at this 47 bedded hospital consists of primary, community and secondary, and adult social care services delivered from one location and as such is a new approach to the provision of care. As well as hospital services the building also houses two GP practices (Mount Pleasant and Town Gate Surgeries).
