A new camera-controlled car park management system is now in operation at Macclesfield District General Hospital. The system is more convenient as it does away with the need for pay and display tickets and provides many more ways to purchase parking time. It will also improve accessibility for patients and help prevent dangerous and inconsiderate parking. The system is now fully operational and updated payment machines which require all visitors to enter their vehicle's registration numbers are in place. 

As a result, please remember to enter your FULL vehicle registration number into the payment machine when purchasing parking time. Parking time can be purchased on arrival, however, if you do exceed the amount of time purchased you can pay for additional parking time up to midnight on the day of your visit. Just make sure that the time you add on plus the original time you paid for covers your stay.
